While not the only reason to visit Disneyland during the Fall, the specialty food offerings during this Halloween season are always top notch! If you want to ensure something new to experience while you are visiting the Parks, seasonal menus are one way to switch things up.
Holiday offerings usually run the length of that particular season (in this case September 1 through October 31), and availability is fairly consistent. All that new yummy goodness is spread out over both Disneyland and California Adventure parks, and through the various restaurants and carts. There are some items that seem to come back every year because they are popular, but others are brand new! Want some suggestions of what to get and where to find it? We are here to help and make sure you don’t miss a thing!

First, CHURROS! While Walt Disney World has more parks and variety in their meals and snacks, Disneyland owns the market on churros- they are amazing! While the classic churro is perfection all by itself (especially if you are able to get a super fresh one), each season brings about some extra flavors for some variety. This year you can find the following around the Parks:
*Maleficent Churro (Sleeping Beauty Castle or Town Square): classic churro rolled in chocolate cookie crumbs, peanut butter/vanilla dipping sauce also available
*Orange Citrus Churro (Tomorrowland): citrus-flavored churro served with a citrus cream dipping sauce (orange-flavored icing and condensed milk sauce)
*Oogie Boogie Churro (Hollywood Land): chocolate cookie-covered churro with green icing, gummy worms, and candies
*Sweet Potato Cheesecake Churro (Casey Jr Train): regular churro with sweet potato cheesecake dipping sauce
*The Panic Churro (Oogie Boogie Bash only):blue sugar churro with raspberry popping candy

Third, FOOD! While the sit-down restaurants do have some seasonal offerings on the menu, it is the snack foods that are the star of the show in this department. We tend to lean towards the sweeter menu items, so this list is a little smaller, but still delicious!
*Red Pepper Cheese Onion Rings (Hungry Bear): also available as French Fries
*Spicy Chili Dog (Refreshment Corner): premium hot dog topped with spicy chili, nacho cheese sauce, spicy brown mustard, spicy corn chips, and a fried serrano pepper
*Slow Burnin’ Mac & Cheese (Cozy Cone 3): spicy red pepper cheese sauce topped with chili-cheese puffs
*Spicy Chicken and Fries (Flo’s V8 Café): steak fries topped with chicken tenders tossed in a mango-habanero sauce, drizzled with ranch dressing, and finished with green onions
